Delete your Hayatuk account
You can delete your Hayatuk account and its associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app (instant)
- Open Hayatuk and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm in the dialog.
Your account and personal data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Option 2 — By email
If you can’t access the app, email contact@hayatuk.org from the address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Profile details: name, email, phone number, and blood type
- Your approximate location and region
- Blood requests you created
- Requests you accepted (your donation history)
- Your push-notification token
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Data retention
Personal data is deleted as described above. We may retain a limited amount of information only where required by law (for example, basic security logs), for the minimum period required, after which it is also deleted. No retained data is used to re-identify or contact you.
